Save the Dates and More.

This post is a little delayed, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise package anyone was set to receive in their mailboxes by posting too early. Then I had a baby...so, needless to say, better late than never! Here are the engagement photos of one of my favorite colleagues and her fiance, along with some adorable Save the Dates. The design was a joint effort, but the homemade caramels were all Megan and Tom!

By the way, there were originally five caramels in the box, but I couldn't resist eating a couple before I shot these photos. Oops!

Mary and Nick's Mini Session

Just a few weeks before their wedding (more to come on that later), Mary and Nick participated in mini sessions to follow up their winter Engagement session at the Fox Theatre.  We had a great morning for a few outdoor photos in Historic St. Charles. 

This was f.e.b. images' first ever mini sessions, and we'll be trying this format again in the Fall to prepare for the holiday card rush.

Email today to reserve your time slot. Each session is only thirty minutes, so we'll make this work rain or shine! After the proofs are up, you will select four of your favorite images to be retouched and emailed for your own personal use and printing (up to 5 x 7). This is a $52 value!

Engagement Photos at the Fox with Mary and Nick

Thanks to Mary and Nick, I had the opportunity to photograph at the Fox Theatre. They needed an indoor space to take engagement photos during a cold winter day, and they organized this session. These are some of the most dramatic engagement photos I've done, with high contrast lighting, elegant backgrounds, and unique architectural elements. What a treat!

Sarah and Chris's Engagement Session in Kirkwood

Sarah, Chris and I had a break from the cold weather just in time to spend the afternoon in Downtown Kirkwood.




The farmer's market was closed, of course, but we stopped by!

 

 

After the session, they stopped at Bar Louie for a drink.  Congrats, you two!

I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding this summer!

Engagements!

These past few weeks have been spent with some couples getting married this fall!

Julie and Guy will be getting married October 16th in the Belleville area, and we had a lot of fun taking photos in Glen Carbon, where Guy is a firefighter!

I also spent the morning in Old St. Charles with Megan and Matthew. They are getting married the last weekend of September! We had fun exploring the Old Capitol.

Congratulations Ann & Cale!

Last weekend, I headed to Lawrence, Kansas to take engagement photos of Ann & Cale. We all went to the University of Kansas together, and they are getting married in July, 2010. We braved some snowy sidewalks, but I think that the campus was a perfect backdrop for their photos. I'm looking forward to heading to McPherson, Kansas to photograph their wedding this summer!

Sasha and Rob's Second Engagement Session

Finally, a warm day at Forest Park! Of course, it did rain about 20 minutes after we finished, but these are great photos of the place where Sasha and Rob got engaged. I hope they enjoyed their afternoon, and are getting excited for their upcoming wedding. Less than two months away!

After a rain-out the day before, we spent a windy, yet sunny afternoon in Forest Park on Sunday. Sasha and Rob are getting married this summer and they are excited to get their "Save the Date" announcements out to friends and family. Forest Park has special meaning for them, so it was the perfect place to take spring engagement photos. We'll be back this summer when the weather is a little warmer and the flowers have bloomed.
